LINCOLN PARK ZOO
Enjoy the Lincoln Park Zoo, $34 per person (includes the ICE Dragon pendant, valued at $25).
Take the Coach/Bus to the Zoo, located in downtown Chicago, and spend 3–hours experiencing the wonderful experience at one of the nation's oldest zoos housing 1,200 animals. You might even have time to eat a bite.
Lincoln Park Zoo is a world of wildlife in the shadow of skyscrapers. Located within a verdant park just minutes north of Chicago, the zoo has been a natural, free oasis for generations of animal lovers, who come to hear a lion's roar echo off nearby apartment buildings, see gorillas climb trees as the Willis Tower looms in the distance, or forget where they are as they immerse themselves in tropical rainforests, dry-thorn forests, or spacious savannas.
The animals exhibited serve as ambassadors for their wild cousins. From reclusive reptiles to massive mammals, the species in Chicago educate visitors and help zoo scientists protect wildlife around the world.
Wildlife species native to the Midwest are exhibited within the Pritzker Family Children's Zoo within Lincoln Park Zoo. Black bears, red wolves, and American beavers roam outdoor exhibits, while American kestrels and Eastern box turtle's reside indoors. Nearby is the Farm-in-the-Zoo presented by John Deere; exhibiting pigs, cows, horses, and other domestic animals. Visitors can pet goats, feed cows, and roam vegetable gardens teeming with life.
