ACTIVITY DETAILS
There were many activities throughout the event that kept you busy and made your experiences memorable. Here are brief descriptions of many activities, before and during the event, to get the maximum experience. One fact that you need to remember is that you go home with lots of goodies! So, we hope you brought an extra suitcase to carry them home.
EVENT MESSAGE BOARD (PRE-EVENT)
HOP had created a 2009 HK Passport to the Kingdom message board for use by event attendees. You were able to join us on the message board for updates, information, and to share your thoughts and ideas. The message board is now closed.
Signing up was a breeze! You could have selected the Sign Up button at the top of the page or go to the selections of links that include Join. Complete the Registration form. You could have then returned to our message board under the My Forums link.
You were able to read messages, as a member, on the board. The message board was created to give you a place to ask questions about the event, get ideas of places to go, and things to see in Newport. We also had contests on a regular basis. If you had any questions, you were able to contact our message board Host, Robert Morin.
EVENT YEARBOOK (PRE-EVENT)
For the last two years we've had event yearbooks that were a big hit with the attendees. People could put a name to the face, even the message board names. If you would like to be included in the Event Yearbook, send a photo to HOP along with any little bit of information that you would like shared about yourself. We will include your name, your state, and message board name.
If you have a digital photo, send it to HOP Registration. If you have a physical photo, contact registration for an address to mail your photo to. Please submit photos by August 15, 2009.
EVENT MERCHANDISE (PRE-EVENT)
Event merchandise will be available around the beginning of August
DONORS AND SPONSORS (PRE-EVENT)
There are a number of ways to support the event and the charities. Being a donor helps us have the prizes and raffles that are so abundant. You become a Sponsor when you also subscribe to an ad. All sponsors and donors are recognized in the Event Program. Most sponsors will receive Another Big Day as a thank you. Registration deadline was August 15, 2009. Event Program deadline was August 31, 2009.
One event prototype will be given to a lucky Premier Sponsor in a random drawing. So, if you want a chance at the prototype, become a Sponsor. For more information visit our SPONSORSHIP page.
WELL WISHER AD (PRE-EVENT)
Attendees' registration fees don't cover all costs of the event. Part of the success of the weekend will depend on the fund raisers we have to cover these costs. If you would like to do a small part in making it a success, you can offer your best wishes for the event with your own personal ad space—for only $10. A Well Wisher ad is 1 1/2" by 2 1/4". If you want more room for your message, you can reserve more than one ad. Go together with family or friends and have fun! Some ideas for what you might place in your Well Wisher ad: say hello; or make a wish; or thank someone. Please do not use this option for selling product(s).
One event prototype will be given to one Well Wisher in a random drawing. You have one change for each $10 donation. So, if you want a chance at the prototype, subscribe to one or more Well Wisher ads. To order your Well Wisher space(s), use our online OPTIONS ORDER FORM. Ads must be received by August 31, 2009.
