EARLY BIRD FIGURINE

2015 was a monumental year both for Harmony Kingdom and Peter and Andrea Calvesbert. Harmony Kingdom was introduced to the collectible world at the International Collectible Exposition in April 1995. Pete and Andrea were married in September 1995. To commemorate their marriage, the Early Bird figurine, HK Celebration, is a 20th Anniversary piece in the Cake Topper series. The original Cake Topper was a gift to the guests at Pete and Andrea's wedding. Later in 1996, this same piece was released as The Big Day and was included in the Royal Watch Charter Year membership kit.

In HK Celebration we find their "Big Day" 20 years later. This gift was for Collectors who registered and paid for the HK CELEBRATIONS reunion by the Early Bird deadline, October 31, 2015. Pete has finally "aged" the couple, showing the results of the past 20 years: less hair, a few extra pounds, chest and stomach rather filled out, and the "wishful thinking" version of Andrea's breasts.

Early Bird Collectors will receive one Anniversary figurine in their registration package. However, we know that you may have friends who did not register for this event. So, Early Bird Attending Collectors only could have ordered up to five (5) more HK Celebration figurines. The cost was $35 each. These pieces are no longer available to order.

Do You Want to be Part of Pete's Art?

Meet Whoo's Coming?, the HK CELEBRATIONS event box figurine. Pete has carved a beautiful owl that he often sees or hears in the field by his home. It is sitting on a tree stump waiting to find out who's coming to England. Pete's signature mouse is seen on the back of the stump, that Pete hopes does not become food for the owl.

Everyone registering for the HK CELEBRATIONS UK event (whether you attend or not) received this Version 1 of Whoo's Coming? in their registration package.

For each event we have a second version of the event box figurine. This helps raise money to offset expenses, and provides funds for a donation to charity. Being the imaginative person he is and wanting to involve collectors in his art, Peter has come up with a brilliant opportunity. He had promised that all of the 110 Early Bird registrants will have their initials inscribed on Whoo's Coming? II (Version 2). This will make the event piece even more exclusive and will mean everyone who registers early will be forever etched in Harmony Kingdom! PAINT-YOUR-OWN

An unstained Small Treasure Jest version of Tony's Tabbies will be available as a Paint-You-Own piece at the event. The cost was US $25 or UK £16, with a limit of five per attendee. Pieces at the event will be limited to stock on hand. Secrets: This youthful group of cats contrasts to the older, more staid cats of “Major’s Mousers,” whose retirement was announced April 1997 shortly before that of John Major, former Prime Minister. “May 1 97” and “Blair Wins” refer to the landslide victory for Tony Blair and the Labour party in the UK General Election in May 1997. Peter had spotted the first cuckoo of the season and a grass snake while working on this piece, thus their incorporation. The tin can appears again, and Peter insists that this is the first time the mouse has shown his bottom. Inside a cat uses the walls of the box as a scratching post. Hallmarks include ©, heart, HBC logo, ed.#, and Pc.

HARMONY KINGDOM 20th ANNIVERSARY MAGNET

We are not sure if 20 years behind bars actually applies, but in Peter's case... maybe this magnet does. Still in the prototype stages here, the magnet was complete at the event. Twenty years for Pete's HK 20th Anniversary Magnet. Was only available for US $12 or UK £8 at the event. Shipping was $3 (or £2) for the first magnet and $1 (or 70p) for each additional. Shipping charges are not required for HK CELEBRATIONS registrants.

The final (two) versions of the Twenty Years Harmony Kingdom Magnet was colored green or blue.

 
SURPRISE BOX

Pete created a surprise box of Ed's New Safari Version 1 and Ed's New Safari Version 2. These were available to order during the event for US $60 or UK £40. Shipping costs for US Attendees was $6, up to 2, or $10 for 3 or 4. The edition size was determined at the end of the day.
