The HK House of Peers and Harmony Kingdom offers you the
opportunity to win this prototype of Great Expectations (COLZ), one of the Covets series of box figurines. At the same time you would be assisting NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness), a grass roots organization dedicated to the eradication of mental illnesses and to the improvement of the quality of life for all whose lives are affected by these diseases.
Great Expectations Prototype
Great Expectations was carved by Master Carver Monique Baldwin in 2003, and released in 2004, as part of the Covets series. The piece was produced in England at Martin Perry Studios at Wimberley Mills in an edition size of 2500.

Great Expectations HK Secrets:
Covets are whimsical yet functional boxes, combining three dimensional carving and detailed etching. The exterior of "Great Expectations" features a lizard approaching an egg. the interior portrays a lizard on a rock, partially etched and partially sculpted, with room enough to store special treasures. |

The prototype has the usual hallmarks: Treble Clef (HBC Logo); © (copyright); Yin & Yang (year of creations - 2003); and an eye (Artist - Monique Baldwin).

This piece has two significant differences from the piece that was issued:
- The prototype is slightly smaller than the final version. The dimensions are 3.75" x 3.25" x 3.25" high; the final version is 4" x 3.25" x 3.25".
- The base of the prototype has the handwritten notation: LIZARD COVET #001.

families. Founded in 1979, NAMI has become the nation's voice on
mental illness, a national organization including NAMI
organizations in every state and in over 1100 local communities
across the country who join together to meet the NAMI mission
through advocacy, research, support, and education.
