Harmony Kingdom - Crown Jewel Prototype Charity Auction
 

The HK House of Peers and Harmony Kingdom offers you the opportunity to win a Crown Jewel box figurine prototype, carved by Monique Baldwin. At the same time you would be ssisting NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill), a grass roots organization dedicated to eradicating mental illness and improving the quality of life for those affected by these diseases.

Crown Jewel was a Royal Watch Collector's Club special offer for authorized independent club (HOP) members. Carved by Master Carver Monique Baldwin, Crown Jewel was produced in England and available for a limited time in 2002.

Crown Jewel HK Secrets:

This is the fourth box figurine made exclusively for Harmony Kingdom's authorized independent club members. The wistful frog has rescued a princess's golden ball and now longs for his kiss. The interior collection of jewels symbolizes how valuable collectors are - they are the jewels of the Kingdom.

This prototype differs in several ways from the actual production piece.

  • "GABRIEL" inscribed on Crown Jewel PrototypeThe center of the frog's crown is a shade of deep purple, whereas the production piece is a light brown in color.
  • The nub and notch to line up the lid with the base are not on the prototype.
  • With the lid off the prototype box you will see the word "GABRIEL" inscribed at the top of one of the frogs leg. This inscription is not on the production piece.
  • The finish is very glossy, as opposed to the production pieces that were extremely matte in finish.
  • The four identifying hallmarks are inscribed on the lid of the box, however the prototype does not have the crown stamp.
  • The bottom of the base is marked INDY. CLUB PIECE # 001.

National Alliance for the Mentally IllNAMI is the nation's leading grassroots organization solely dedicated to improving the lives of persons with severe mental illnesses (major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders). Their efforts focus on support to persons with serious mental illnesses and to their families. They advocate non-discriminatory and equitable federal and state policies; increased research funding into the causes, symptoms, and treatments for mental illness; and education to eliminate the pervasive stigma toward severe mental illness. Through advocacy and education, NAMI translates biomedical research advances into effective treatment and services for individuals with serious mental illness.
