The HK House of Peers and Harmony Kingdom offered you the opportunity to win the original prototype of War and Peace, an extremely rare Peter Calvesbert figurine. At the same time you would be assisting NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill), a grass roots organization dedicated to eradicating mental illness and improving the quality of life for those affected by these diseases.
War and Peace Prototype
War and Peace was carved by Master Carver Peter Calvesbert and produced in England. The production piece (Version 1 at right) was available only at the HK booth during the 2003 Rosemont IGCE in an edition size of 500. Because of an overwhelming demand another 500 pieces were produced with a color variation.
A hawk and a dove stand back to back, in the pose adopted by duelists. Around their feet lie their accessories. For the hawk there's a gas tank, a holster, and big belt buckles of the American and British flags. The dove holds out a bouquet of flowers and carries a copy of the "Kama Sutra" under one wing, an indication of a desire to "make love, not war." Peter's signature mouse hangs out in the hawk's holster.
This War and Peace prototype is a solid body Treasure Jest. The coloration is the same as the Version 1 box figurine. The base however is a rectangular shape.

Another variation with the War and Peace prototype is that the gas tank below the hawk contains the letters 'GAS' where the production piece has been changed to 'G.'

The bottom of the base reads Prototype TJ Dove & Hawk.

This War and Peace is one of the first out of the mold, providing it with great detail, stain, and coloration.
Do not miss the opportunity to add this beautiful, rare piece to your collection. You will not only bring joy to yourself, but you will help bring joy to those who NAMI supports.
