The HK House of Peers and Harmony Kingdom offered you the
opportunity to win an extremely rare box figurine prototype of
Fragonard. At the same time you would be
assisting NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill), a grass roots
organization dedicated to the eradication of mental illnesses and to the improvement
of the
quality of life of all whose lives are affected by these diseases. All proceeds from this
auction will be donated to NAMI in
the winners name.
Fragonard Prototype
Carved by
Master Carver David Lawrence, Fragonard
was produced in England, as a small Treasure Jest. The
Fragonard prototype
offered here has the pig holding a beer mug, instead of
a bunch of roses, as in the production box.
Fragonard was issued
in the spring of 2004, as a fixed edition of 2500 pieces worldwide.
Only 250 were made with the beer mug, this being the first
prototype.
